Fran's Story

Fran Garton, The Pain Witch, has been a solitary pagan practitioner for 25+ years focusing on water and energy magick.

"In 2011, extreme stress caused daily migraines, blurry vision and nausea. For 6 months, my body sent me messages that I ignored until one day my body called it quits. I ended up bed-ridden for 4-months with vision loss and migraines all because I refused to manage my stress and listen to my body. I began studying stress and became a Stress Resiliency Coach. I began to feel like I had some control over my life.

Then 2012, I suffered from debilitating pain in my hands and feet which got so bad that at times I couldn’t walk to the bathroom or get out of bed. After many tests and specialists, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I was both relieved and terrified. I followed my doctors’ instructions with some relief, but I truly believed that there had to be a more holistic solution aside from taking medication. So I dove into pain….how it manifests, affects the body and strategies to not only get out of the flare-pain-recovery cycle, but to also downgrade this cycle to an infrequent occurrence."

Fran’s passion is helping people tune into their magick, harness their power and use their natural talents to live full, passionate lives.  They are a Pain and Stress Reduction Coach, QiGong and Meditation instructor, Oracle and Tarot reader, Reiki Master, Embodied Processing Practitioner, Body-Positive Trainer and Fibromyalgia Warrior.  They are also a 2x best selling author and speaker and has appeared on Breakfast Television, CH Morning Live and 60+ podcasts. 

With their love for teaching people about the body, how it works and how to listen to it for optimal movement and health.  Healing comes in a variety of forms and Fran is an expert in guiding her clients and giving them tools to aid in their health.  They are passionate about pain-free living.  Fran is also a watercolour artist who creates reiki-infused sigils and paintings that support a healing journey.
